Modern mini-pile rigs fit through standard doorways. Underpinning and small extensions in confined sites routinely use them now. Different rigs, different noise, different costs.

Design and inspection

Pile design is engineer-led and the records — pile-driving logs, set criteria — form part of the Building Control submission. Make sure those records actually get to the Building Control body.
