What you are looking at
A general arrangement showing beams, columns and load paths, plus detail drawings of connections, padstones, and reinforcement. Each has a revision number — work to the latest.
Why revisions matter
Drawings change. The version on site needs to match the version Building Control approved. Old drawings on a builder's table is a warning sign.
What to ask your engineer
Where the loads concentrate, what padstones are required, and what happens if site conditions differ from the assumed soil.
