Why they exist
Inspection chambers give access for rodding, jetting and CCTV. They are required at junctions, changes of direction, and at regular intervals on long runs.
Inside the house
When unavoidable, chambers inside the house need double-sealed covers, often recessed for finishes. The detailing makes a serious difference to liveability.
Where they end up
Chambers placed for the convenience of the drainage layout often end up in inconvenient places for landscaping. Worth a coordination conversation at design stage.
